Race until you accumulate $100,000 or more. At the mode select screen, choose "R & D".
Under the R&D options, move the tire next to the lab. Under the laboratory option,
select "ENGINE". Put $100,000 into the development of the new engine. During a race,
press Buttons A and B simultaneously.
