At the demo previous to the title screen, press and hold L, R and up, then press Start.
Continue to hold the buttons and press Start again when the title screen appears, then
once more while the game start option is highlighted. Release all buttons. You will
now have 6 continues.
During gameplay, work through the first level without shooting anything until
you reach the first boss. Destroy the boss, but don't shoot the side guns - your
objective is to finish the level with exactly 2800 points. You will now have the
napalm weapon.
